Task #7 Online Session and learning Environments
Part One: If not done yet please add a Link to your Blogpost with your Learning Environment to the Wiki. Part Two: Have a look at the Blogposts of the others and get an Impression about their (e-)Learning Environments.
Part Three: Write an own Article about the Blogposts you’ve just read concerning the Learning Environments and/or about our Online Session.
Online Session
Today we had a kind of Online Session within our seminar. We started with a Skype Conference and I think that worked pretty well.
My usual plan was to have the Online Session in Adobe Connect / Breeze. In Adobe Connect one have the possibility to use Textchat, Videoconferencing, Screensharing and a lot of other features. I expected Problems alreade before the Session and thats why we based our online Meeting on Skype. I hope it was an interesting experience for all of you!?
During the Online Session you were asked to watch this Video from Jay Cross about informal Learning. If you liked the video you might be interested in this one too.
Special Thank to Jonas who prepared the small zotero Workshop which didn’t work that good because of technical reasons. Jonas was so nice to put his Information into a Presentation which will be embedded below.

Hi Ralf,
Just wanted to let you know that if you’re ever interested in hosting free screen sharing sessions for your online meetings, you might be interested in Mikogo (http://www.mikogo.com). Mikogo is a free screen sharing tool where you can invite up to 10 participants simultaneously to any one Mikogo meeting. Switch presenter, remote control, file transfer, etc. are just a few features. Of course, Mikogo is 100% free.
Also there is a Skype Extra so you can chat and share screens all for free.
Check it out when you have a moment. If you have any questions about it, feel free to email me.
Regards,
Andrew Donnelly
