Task #8 Learning Theories

Task of the weekOK, Task #8 is going to be a kind of Experiment. This Task should be solved collaborative.
I rreated a Section for Learning Theories in our Wiki. It includes Behaviourism, Cognitivism, Constructivism and Connectivism. Even thoug I am not that sure if Connectivism is/will be a Learning Theorie we should have a look on it.

All four Theories are seperated into four Parts:

  1. What is …?
  2. What is the special meaning for eLearning?
  3. Which eLearning Tools make use of … and in what point exactly?
  4. References

What should be added to these Titles?

  1. Explanaitions, Definitions, …
  2. Is there a special relationship for eLearning? Which one could it be?
  3. Describe parts of Learningsystems and/or Tools and where they make use of this learning theorie, does’nt matter if intendet or not.
  4. Please List your sources for the above Information and make sure there is easy to connect them to the right point of the above Information.

You are free to chose which Theory/Headline you want to work on until no one else started work on this one. You should finde “your own” headline where you contribute the basic information. Of course you are allowed to add additional Information to all Theories and Headlines.

Aim

In the end all Theories should be complete, so you can use it in your final Exams or in other Seminars.

[…] We were then asked to carry out Task #3 “Select a picture” where we were put into groups - chosen at random - and then to carry out  Task #4 which was based on this choice, and involved us preparing our presentations of our subjects . The fact that we worked together - and also later during the seminar - was of course a constructist way of learning - i.e. working together to reach a learning objective - a topics, amongst many, that was covered in the final task Task #8 “learning theories” […]
